FREEMAN HAIZHOU WANG

Agent Bio

Freeman Wang’s great success began with a failure. After saving up his money to purchase some rental property in Las Vegas, he was blindsided when the bottom fell out of the market he’s just invested in. “It was bad timing and I almost went bankrupt. But I decided to stand up where I fell down, and got my Realtor’s license so that I would never make the same mistake again.” He got his license in 2015 and worked with RE/MAX for two years, building a repeat client and referral business of 90 present before creating Freeman wang and Associates in2017. Now he manages a team of over 65 agents serving California’s region. Freeman Wang and his team closed 132 transactions for a sale volume of $90 million. On average, his clients’ home sold nearly three times faster than those of his competition, and earned them 4.1 percent more money on their investment. “We operate like a marketing agency,” Freeman explains. “We utilize a database with thousands of contacts to proactively find off-market deals for our clients. So our buyers are not limited to just the home they see advertised on websites or on the MLS. We’ll query potential sellers, offering them an opportunity. And it’s the same principle for our sellers. We are not just going to hang up a sign and put out a media post. We will actively look for buyers who might want to upsize, downsize, or invest. That’s how we net our clients the most value on their investment.” That service is made possible in part due to the close relationship Freeman and all of his agents build with their clients. “We’re constantly reaching out to the people we’ve worked with, sometimes to alert them to opportunities, but more often just to say hello. We’ll stay in touch on social media or through texting, as we would with any friend.” Freeman takes a holistic approach to his business and his personal life with the knowledge that each nurtures the other- and he encourages his agents to do the same. A percentage of every transaction closed by Freeman Wang and Associates is donated to a local Children Hospital, and Freeman personally donates to various art associations dedicated to serving children.”I graduated from art school myself, so encouraging children’s creativity is something that’s very important to me.” It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Freeman likes to paint in his free time. “I have a studio that’s my sanctuary, which is where I go to just create and unwind. I can’t always avoid answering my phone, of course, but I can usually get a few hours in.” As for the future of his business, Freeman regards continued growth as a win-win for everyone. “I enjoy being of service, and this company benefits the clients for whom we’re continually offering great wealth-building opportunities, new agents because of the amount of business we’re able to generate for them, and the community because of the different ways we give back.”
